Thai Yoga Massages

The roots of the Thai massage lie in the ayurvedic medicine of India.

Today known in Thailand under the name Nuad Phaen Boran (ancient healing touch), it is also often called Thai-Yoga-Massage in Western Europe.

Because the Thai massage consists of passive stretching positions and stretching movements taken from yoga, joint mobilizations and pressure point massages. It is therefore a combination of passive yoga (also called Nuad Yoga), acupressure, energy work and meditation.

The energies, which, according to Ayurvedic doctrine, pass through the body as an energetic network, are also treated by the combination of these techniques. Thus, Thaimassage is of great use to the sustainer as well as to the therapist, and there can be a very profound healing for both, a spiritual connection between two persons.

Thai massage is often referred to as "Sacred Dance" between two people. Namely, because of the way we move, how we breathe, touch and so allow healing to take place and flow.

"To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear."
